Fit 12-16 gal Rigid Shop Vac very well
The SpaceTent 3 Pack High Efficiency Replacement Filter Bags for Ridgid 12 to 16 Gallon Wet/Dry Vac fit an older Rigid Shop vac very well. The bag does not impede the air flow/suction at all. It is good to use a vacuum bag in a shop vac to catch most all of the little debris and dust in order to get longer life with the filter, cut down on any residual dust/dirt blowing out the back side of the shop vac and not have to wipe out the inside of the vac container after dumping. The only thing is that the bags are kind of pricey unless buying in bulk which you may not need if not using the shop vac all the time.

SO much better than having to constantly clean (or replace) the filter!
I was doing a bunch of carpentry and drywall work in our garage, and happened across a comment on a construction blog about using a filter bag to avoid having to constantly replace or clean the vacuum filter (primarily because the drywall dust essentially goes straight to the filter, rather than collecting in the bottom of the vacuum).Well, these dust bags are GREAT! My Ridgid shop vac will go at least 10-20 times as long without needing to clean or replace the filter. The Space Bags have filled at least 50% without seeming to reduce the suction power on the vac – without the Space Bags, the vacuum filter would pack full of drywall dust very quickly, with only an inch or so of dust in the bottom.Only issue with the Space Bags is the cut they make in the paper/carboard they use for the fitting that goes over the hose end inside the vacuum. The cardboard is scored, but not deeply enough, so that you really have to work at getting the bag onto the hose end – to the point where I was afraid the cardboard was going to rip somewhere OTHER THAN where it was supposed to. An inconvenience, not a show-stopper.
