Wow, I am surprised and impressed!
I really wasn’t sure what I could expect from this when I ordered it. I expected something that is about the size of a small hair dryer in your hand, and I would say that does feel like a small hairdryer. I didn’t expect the suction to be fantastic, but I am impressed! I thought, “Wow, this is stronger than I expected, it must be because the suction hole is small,” then I pressed the button again and realized that it had been on the low setting! The higher setting blew me away.So, I am planning on giving this to my cleaning challenged teen for Christmas. I thought it would be novel enough to inspire her to play with it a bit. It has so many little attachments that it really feels like a toy…I know that it says a lot about someone when they think that things like vacuum cleaners and tools are toys. I have hope that the fact that I think a useful gadget is a fun gift will have rubbed off on my children. If it hasn’t it will be a “useful gift that sucks.” (Wow, that is my second Dad-Joke style pun in a single review.)The box, being orange, looks a bit like a power tool. I was a little sad when I saw it because I was looking forward to the sparkly blue vacuum; however, when I opened the box a big smile appeared across my face as I was thrilled with the metallic blue and silver hand vac! Yay! It’s so cute!There is a surprisingly nice velvet bag included to store all of the parts. I think a clear plastic bin or basket will be a more useful storage solution, but the bag is nice quality and would be useful for hanging everything on a coat hook or in the back of a closet in a dorm room. If you toss it in your car or in a desk drawer at work, the bag would do a great job of keeping the parts together. It is thick enough that it adds a nice bit of cushion to everything inside.I expected the hose to be that cheap plastic stuff that is corrugated kind of like those straws you can whip around in a circle and make a whistling sound. But WOW, seriously, this is one of the nicest feeling vacuum hoses I have ever felt. It is strong, flexible, has that rubbery feeling like a really nice vacuum hose. It is flexible and flowy, and has a surprising amount of weight to it. It’s not going to crack or break.The listing and box say “3 in 1”. I’m not quite sure what the 3rd is… It sucks at 2 speeds. It blows at 2 speeds from the opposite side. It has lots of attachments to get in little spaces, concentrate the air flow and make it even more powerful. It comes with an extra filter! That is really nice. These things rarely come with an extra filter! I don’t know what 3 in 1 really means, but I am sure that it does it. It does more than I expected. It is more powerful than I hoped.I honestly think my older teenage daughter will think this is a nice gift, and I would be thrilled if someone gave one to me. I may be abnormal in that way…men beware of the woman who gets highly insulted by receiving a vacuum cleaner as a gift. It’s a risky bet to make if you don’t really know she’s going to love it, I’ve warned you. But if you do give it to her and she dumps you you will be left with a vacuum that can get in all of your little nooks and crannies while you recover from the trauma.

Great for light cleaning
I’m impressed with the battery life on this unit and it has good power for it’s size & price. It’s compact and comes with a storage bag that helps you keep all the attachments together – or you can keep it in the car for quick clean ups. I cleaned the dash, both front seat areas, and the back seat and the battery still has strong power left. The filter is very effective at trapping dust and other small particles, and I’m pleased that it comes with a replacement filterI did not find that this vacuum was very effective at cleaning the floor/carpets. It works well as a crevice tool, or to suck the dust out of the vents, but I’d avoid trying to use this to sweep the floors. It’s not really robust enough to do thorough detailing work. I found the location of the power button (in the trigger position) makes it very easy to accidentally turn it off while using it. Another thing I don’t love is that you have to touch and manually pull the filter out to empty the collected dirt from the unit.The blower/inflator/deflator feature seems pretty powerful, though I wasn’t able to test it out. The blowing attachments don’t stay on as securely as I would like, but they do seem like they would be effective.One note – I was a little confused initially because the image on the box doesn’t match the appearance of the vacuum itself. The box shows a slightly different orange unit and the vacuum is blue, as pictured in the listing. I noticed that you can see the discrepancy in one of the images that shows the package. This in no way impacts the performance, but I wanted to point it out as an FYI.
