Wish I just bought the Dyson battery
I hope the explanation for this battery not working is that we received a defective battery. The window initially read 43 minutes to start but barely got 15-20 minutes. Everytime I stopped and restarted it lost time, vacuuming over the floor rugs it lost time. With the original Dyson battery, before it stopped holding a charge, I could vacuum the entire house, floor rugs, and couches on one charge. With this battery was not able to even vacuum 1/2 the house before I had to stop and recharge it. It turned a 40 minutes job of vacuuming into a several hour job.

Works for Dyson V11 Animal+
My Costco-purchased V11 Animal+ stopped working out of the blue and I wasn’t sure replacing the battery would fix it since the battery didn’t slowly decline, it just stopped, period. It was suggested to me that the battery’s electronics may have failed so I tried buying this replacement battery. I was pleasantly surprised that right out of the shipping box the battery had the vacuum starting right up. Nice to save a bit compared to the $150 Dyson oem battery or potentially worse, the $400+ to buy a new Dyson cordless. It probably doesn’t click into the vacuum quite as easily as the oem battery, but I was able to get it fully seated and it works great so far.

It definitely increased runtime
My V11 is a few years old now, and it doesn’t take much vacuuming before the charge level drops from 3->2 bars. Hence, I figured I’d try this battery, given that it claims to have twice the storage capacity of the OEM one. While I don’t have any recorded metrics, there has been a noticeable increase in the amount of vacuuming before the battery starts showing any signs of discharging. It’s also been handy to swap batteries so one can be on the charger while the other is in use. I haven’t had any problems using the stock charger, and the battery doesn’t seem to get warm when charging/discharging. Overall, I’d call that a win.

Overall quality is very good!
This 25.2V 6.0Ah replacement battery is compatible with my Dyson SV15 Detect. It fits tight, without any wiggle, just the same as my original Dyson battery. It also looks the same as the original Dyson battery, with the same click-in style. An extra filter and a brush tool are also included. The battery arrived charged and ready to use.This replacement battery appears to be fairly well made, the overall quality is very good. I got just under 30 minutes of continuous use out of this battery while running on Medium, and switching to Boost mode often. My original Dyson battery runs a bit longer before requiring recharge, but this replacement battery isnât too bad.Iâm satisfied with the overall quality of this replacement battery. At around $90, itâs a bit cheaper than a Dyson battery, a reasonably good value, an economical option certainly worth considering. Recommended!

Excellent quality and fit
Perfect fit for Dyson v11 , much larger battery capacity compared to original – this is 6000mah/151 vs original of 3600/92 . Matches color correctly and rest of body .Very easy to install with full functionality and protection though I didnât see ETL or UL listing , maybe itâs not needed for batteries ?Came fully charged and also had 2 accessories – a filter and cleaning brush – cool . Well packed and protected with plastic cap , keep the cap on. Good value for the price. Recommend buy.
