Poor quality, dead in less than 2 months
At first I was happy with the run time of the battery, was able to vacuum the house on a single charge. Usage was maybe 1 time a week. Today went to do some quick cleaning for guests, pulled the vacuum off the charger and it read 26% and no longer runs. Less than 2 months old and maybe 8 full runs. Look elsewhere…

The battery life is fantastic. Love the battery life percentage on the pack. Easy to use as it installed right where the old one came off.

Died in less than 2 months
Final update: Seller promptly refunded. Bummed it died, but seller was great.Update: Quick response from seller, pending resolution, will update again when resolved.Batteries die, and purchased specifically bc this did list a 1 year warranty.Unfortunately similar to other reviewers. Worked fine until it didn’t…Shows 1% then OL, won’t charge and just flashes pink.Lasted 7 weeks…

Works well
This is the 2nd time I’m buying it for my daughter. We both have the dyson vacuum. I almost bought a different vacuum but had to return it coz I was not satisfied with the performance until someone recommended I change the battery. Believe me it was a smart idea cause when I changed it, it was good as new. Try changing the battery first if you feel like your vacuum is not performing well before deciding on buying a new one. It was worth it for me.

Strong start, but blows its wad early
Bought this in October to replace an old Dyson battery. The install was a breeze, and it worked great. Loved the battery level readout. It was used but not daily. Maybe three to four times a week. Usually close to drained completely if not all the way. So maybe 32 recharges and thatâs being generous.Fast forward to December. It was used one day, as normal. Plugged it in as normal. Go back a few hours later and try to use it for some quick crumbs. Still dead. Weird. Made sure it was fully seated on the charger, because we had had that issue before and noticed the blue charging light was accompanied by a red flashing light. Pulled it off and pulled the trigger and the battery said âOHâ for overheat. Weird again because the battery isnât hot. Left it off the charger for four days while we were gone. Plugged it back in and still the same lights showing. After a couple hours still the same readout.So at this point, two months in and one month after the return window is closed, itâs toast. Frustrating. I guess itâs probably to be expected for the price, but itâs definitely not what the sellers would have you believe.Just once Iâd like to see someone say âThis is cheap. Itâll be great for a hot minute but then itâs going to leave you wanting more.â

Good as new
This was easy to install, much cheaper than buying a new Dyson. The vacuum now stays charged longer than ever before. The vacuum now functions better than before, this new battery is more durable and powerful then the OEM battery and fits perfectly.

Excellent upgrade.
This battery is awesome. It lasted way longer than the original battery did even when new. The digital battery percentage readout is also awesome and pretty accurate. It brought my V8 back to life. I can run it from full to empty without significant heating of the battery.If your Dyson needs a new battery, get this one. It will make your vacuum work like new!
