I got this intending to help with my curly bangs on a daily basis to help refresh and reshape them with some water, but there’s a couple things to know how this wouldn’t work.- The bristles are SO ROUGH and rigid. Even more so than a regular teaser brush. I washed them before use and I couldn’t tolerate touching them.-The bristles on the beige one is stiffer than the red ones.- Your hair will get stuck if you’re curling it upside down towards the handles, more so on the beige one as it’s not tapered and your hair will get stuck even worse. The red one will still try, but your hair will not curl the way you want it to.- If you’re using this for other purposes like teasing or brushing in general. this should be okay, but again, I’ve never felt bristles for a brush that hurt THIS BAD. It’s closer to feeling like the steel grill brushes honestly.Now, if you’re straightening or trying to straighten your hair in small sections like a beard or your bangs this might be okay but again, the integrity of your hair would be really frizzed out if your hair is textured. Be very careful.I wouldn’t recommend this personally for anyone trying to do their curly hair or trying to refresh a couple of wonky curls.I’ll keep trying and maybe try to soften the bristles with conditioner or something but at this current moment it’s not good.

Used one brush for mens mustache. The other brush is perfect for hair volume and curling. A good value for money. Long lasting and durable.
