Kind of flimsy, not very effective.
I have 3 12″ round fans that are kind of a pain to take apart to clean, so these skinny brushes seemed like a good solution…they were not. I had to use a pair of thin kitchen tongs to try to keep the blades from moving the whole time I was trying to brush the dust off. I think I actually spent more time trying to clean them this way than if I’d simply unscrewed the wire cage guards. They worked okay on the outer cage of the fans, but any brush I already had would’ve done just as well, if not better. Also, the twisted wire core of the brush was a bit flimsy and kept bending, which only made matters worse. Next year I’ll just clean them the old fashioned way.
