Great Customer Service
Got these batteries 6 months ago and they worked very well in our kids ATV. they last a long time. for some reason, one battery stopped taking charge. Talked to the support team thru chat which was a bit hard to find with fault of amazon. but they responded fast and they helped right away!

Didn’t last long…
Worked great while it lasted. Had it hooked up to a chicken coop door and 30W solar panel. After about 4 months (just outside support window) it stopped taking a charge from either the solar panel or a battery charger after I hooked it up. Eventually just degraded down to 1V. Maybe I got a dud…***Seller contacted me and offered a full refund which is generous since product is outside return and support window. Iâd already replaced the battery but Iâd give it another shot especially since they backup their product. I upped to 4 stars based on product support.

Lightweight, long-lasting battery for an off-grid solar system
I have several of the 10Ah LFP batteries in a small, off-grid solar system. The oldest battery is about two years old and has been working well this whole time with no measurable degradation.They’ve worked great with both cheap PWM and more expensive MPPT solar charge controllers so long as the charge controllers are set to “lithium” mode. I generally have my charger set to “bulk” charge to 14.4 volts with a 5 amp current limit, hold for “absorption” at 14.4 volts for 2 hours, then “float” at 13.5 volts.I’ve done tests with each of the batteries I’ve purchased and the batteries all hold their specified capacity (10Ah, in my case). The BMS successfully protected the battery from over and undervoltage conditions by disconnecting the battery if the voltage exceeded the rated limitsPros:- Lightweight.- Inexpensive.- Built in BMS for safety, cell balancing, etc.- Use standard F push-on connectors common among small batteries of that size.Cons:- None observed.

Update – failed within 1 day
Update 4 days later, 10/11/2024Well…this did not work out.The battery arrived and was installed on Monday, just before Hurricane Milton struck Wednesday night. After a1/2 second test crank (which was fine), the battery was connected to a new LiFePo4 battery charger designed for this battery chemistry. The charger itself may be suspect, as the battery would not accept a charge. The charger displayed a fault mode after a few hours. I then connected it to a known good charger. After a charge of several hours at 2amps, the charger had to be disconnected as we prepped for the storm.A quick check on Tuesday (the next day) found that the generator would not start. Did not have time to do diagnostics with the storm coming. Had to pull-start the generator after we lost power Wednesday evening.Did diagnostics today, Friday 10/11. No problem with the starter motor, as it started immediately with my portable jumper pack. The Nermark battery showed less than 10V on my DVM. Both chargers displayed a battery fault, and were unable to charge the battery above 10.3V. It’s possible there was an issue with the built-in BMS (Battery Management System), but I don’t know. It’s getting returned once Whole Foods is open again.Original Review 10/7/2024Very simple installation to remove the old sealed lead acid 12-18 battery and replace it with this one. I have been using LiFePo4 batteries in my RC aircraft for over 20 years and I’m glad that this battery is available to replace the typical unreliable lead acid battery that is used as a starter in portable equipment. I took the opportunity to install the terminal rings and cable for the appropriate 3 amp charger and even without completing the charge, did a quick test start on my generator.I hope it will last several years, as this generator is only used for hurricane emergencies. However, I have batteries of this chemistry that are over 20 years old and still hold 80% or more of their charge.I will report back and update this review in the event that there are any failures, or possibly great news to continue to report years from now.

Works great until it dies
Update: Bumped from 2 star to 4 stars since seller offered a refund for the batteriesThe batteries replaced my lead acid batteries perfectly and they did power my devices when the power was out. However, they died and stopped charging less than a year after putting them in. I purchased them in October 23 and they stopped working August 2024

POTA Potent!
Purchased a pair of these (16ah version) as a replacement for my children’s Peg Perego ride-on toys (John Deer Ground Force, and Polaris). The battery easily outperforms the SLA’s that they replaced with excellent performance, longevity, reasonable charging times, and it fits perfectly into the battery compartment on Peg Perego vehicles.As an amateur radio operator, I had been wanting to activate POTA. I pulled one of these from the ride-on toys to attach to my Yaesu FT-991A and the results were just as stellar. While operating at 100W SSB I was able to achieve DX contacts without difficulty. During POTA the radio easily covered 100+ contacts during 90mins of 40%TX, 60%RX and still had battery capacity to spare.I’ve been contemplating a Bioenno 20ah for amateur radio but still on the fence given that Nermak seems very reliable at less than a third of the cost. Nermak and Bioenno are both manufactured in the same country.
