Battery slots in perfectly and works great
We have a Roomba 981 what we’ve had for about four years now. It’s been through the wars, running over dog poop (and being cleaned thoroughly), had the rollers replaced twice, the brush replaced a dozen times and been kicked, stepped on and tripped over more times than can be counted. Still it has kept trucking on, defending our house from the fur, hair and dander of 3 pets and 4 humans.Unfortunately, the battery has started to fail on it. It gets maybe 45 minutes of use on the battery before it suddenly quits in the middle of the room for lack of power. It hasn’t reliably returned home to its dock in over a year, necessitating picking it up and carrying it hope daily. Then it recharges and starts up again at wierd hourts of the day to finish the job. Annoying.I finally decided a new battery was in order so it could keep on trucking.This battery has turned out to be a perfect substitute. It’s a higher capacity battery, which is nice, and it slots into the battery compartment without issue. The roomba appears to be working better. It has more pep and it actually completes a cycle and returns home now, something it hasn’t done well for ages.I can’t speak to the longevity of this battery, but I can say that it works and works well enough that we can see the difference. I’m happy with our acquisition of it because it will hopefully keep our roomba working hard for another few years.

What a money saver!
I am so pleased that when my roomba comes to the end of its life a simple battery replacement revives its service. It sure beats buying a whole new roomba! It was easy to replace. They even send you a tool for it.

Doesn’t work!
Junk battery. Roomba won’t charge – Error 1, Battery cannot be found. Purchased another (much more expensive) battery directly from iRobot/Roomba that works just perfectly.This is definitely a case of you get what you pay for, save your time and effort – just spend the money and buy the one from the company the first time.

rejuvenated my Roomba
It is early yet but performance seems to be better than original. Rooba troubleshooters suggested a battery replacement. Much appreciated.

Works great with my Roomba 670
My brother gave me his old Roomba because he didn’t use it. He said it filled up too quick with his big house and 2 dogs that shed like crazy ð¤ª It had been sitting for a while so the battery died. Bought this one as a replacement and so far so good. It doesn’t fit as snug as the original but there have been no issues so far. ð
