Efficiently inexpensive
I ordered a set of these on a whim in preparation for a trip with my wife. I run, and don’t love my running shoes floating around loose in my luggage. I’ve long just used garbage bags or other big plastic bags, and those have worked fine. But these do it nicely and with some style.As others have noted, these are not thick. I’m not sure they’d contain liquid or sweat or anything like that. But they will keep shoe dirt off your clothes. I’m not sure I’d want them any thicker because they’re pretty much feather-light, and add little to no weight to my usually close-to the-limit suitcase (unlike other shoe containment which is almost always heaver).I handed some off to my wife, and suddenly she’s finding all sorts of other things to put in the bags: toiletries, hats and gloves, and more. As far as she’s concerned, these are a win. And, at this price, I’d have to agree.To recap: They’re thin, light, and look like they’ll contain dirt and maybe light moisture just fine. The window, which allows you to see what’s inside at a glance, is a nice bonus feature, too.

Shoe covers, reusable, set of 18 bags — easy way to protect clothes from shoes in travel bag
When packing shoes in a travel bag, I put each lady shoe in a regular newspaper sleeve, and each man shoe in a (large) Sunday newspaper sleeve. These black drawstring bags will replace the plastic newspaper sleeves, which are increasingly hard to acquire.These are not the beautiful cloth bags you get with expensive shoes. They are adequate for the knock-around shoes we wear while traveling. A size 8 lady shoe fits sideways in the bag. A pair of man shoes fits in one bag. Even so, likely I will put just one shoe in each bag, to improve use of space.I put one bag in the washing machine with a regular load of laundry. It went in with everything else, not protected in a lingerie bag. It came out fine. I did not put it in the dryer.Pro: these bags are reusable. A plastic window shows what is in each bag. The string allows you to hang the bag from a hook. The bags do not have an odor.Con: they take up (a tiny bit) more space than a plastic newspaper sleeve.Rating: goodMy scale: 5 star = excellent (or has a special feature), 4 star = good/ very good (does what it should), 3 star = average (or has a minor flaw), 2 star = below average (multiple flaws or does not perform its function well), 1 star = avoid (does not fulfill its mission). I rarely use the term ‘perfect’ and I rarely assign 5 stars.

These are currently on sale for $9 and have a coupon for additional off. However, I think these are actually a good value even if you were paying the full $10-ish price for the 18 packThey are surprisingly sturdy, even where the window is attached. Won’t tear, and have strong double-drawstrings. They won’t fit two of my husbands boots, but do fit his hiking shoes, and fit any of my shoes. Most boots could be put in singles if needed.These bags are breathable, so don’t trap in moisture, but would prevent a splash or two and would definitely prevent the transfer of dirt or sand. They are also thin enough to pack several in travel or even hiking bags, and they could be used for orher stuff like swim gear or such as well.I really didn’t expect to like these as much as I do, and I will definitely make use of them.

Shoe bags
Set a black shoe bags for travel. I hope these are good for keeping dirt out of luggage. I do not like shoes touching other things. I do like the clear window so you can see what’s in them. This is made out of a thin plasticy fabric that is heat sealed, it’s not sewn. I did try to stretch the seams out, and they all stayed intact when I put my hands in and pushed from the inside so they should last a while since we don’t travel that much. Even if we just use the bags to keep dust off of them in the closet they would be useful.
