Practical and easy to use dustpan and broom
I liked this dust pan and broom which a friend of mine had, so I decided to order one for myself. I like the way the dust pan stands up on its own so I can use both hands to maneuver the broom and direct detritus into the pan, which has a nice sloped edge that hits the floor just right allowing for the dust to be swept in easily.It appears to be well-made and Iâm sure Iâll be using it for many years.

After my 2-star review, the company reached out to me and offered to send me their new version. It arrived today and I have to say it is VASTLY improved over the original version.The broom actually sweeps instead of just flicking debris all over the floor. The dustpan actually sits closer to the floor and I can sweep dust, sand, even pet hair into the bin instead of under it. THIS is why I ordered the product and this version delivers. One feature that I especially love is the comb on the dustpan. It’s great at getting the pet hair out of the broom without having to touch it.I appreciate the company’s willingness to listen to complaints and act upon them. Vast improvement and very attentive to customer concerns. Almost unheard of these days. I can now recommend this product as all my issues have been satisfactorily addressed.My previous review:The broom that comes with this is absolutely worthless. The bristles are too stiff to actually do any good. I’ll use it to knock down the wasp nests on my deck or the spider webs that seem to always show up on my front porch banister, but for sweeping the floors, it’s a no-go.The bin is ok. It works well with my old broom–even though I was hoping to replace it thus the reason for purchasing this one. I do have to tilt it to get the dirt/sand/pet hair (the joys of living near the coast with a shedding dog) to actually go into the bin instead of under it. Which means I’m still trying to sweep the debris with one hand while holding the dust bin with the other. I only managed to eliminate the need to bend over or squat (I can’t do either easily due to back/knee issues) when using a dust bin.I’ll keep it, but I will most likely relegate it to use in the garage or maybe for picking up dog poop in the yard. For indoor use, it really isn’t that great. Good thing it was cheap.

Love this broom
This broom is fantastic. The bristles are perfect and the handle length is great for me (5’7). Overall it is very sturdy and the design is great. I just had to buy another one just because I don’t take old brooms to new homes. (You don’t want to bring your old dirt to a new beginning) And I didn’t even have to think twice about purchasing this broom again or not. As soon as I moved it was already in my cart and being ordered.

Great concept but…
The concept of this product is great, but it being lightweight plastic means the dustpan does not open and close with ease or when you lift it / set it down like traditional dustpans do. You have to assist it is opening / closing with your hand or foot, which can be gross if you are cleaning a mess.Also, this is not made for anyone over 5’9”, the broom handle is too short for me, I am 6’2”, I have to hunch over to clean.The bristles have a rubbery sensation to them, so they tend to fling debris if you are not slowly sweeping.

Comes with a broom and three handle pieces and the dust bin and three handle pieces… screw it together and you’re off… top-Front of the pan has a small comb that helps clean the broom as you sweep in … overall not too big and not too small… Just what I wanted for occasional use To clean up on the hard floors…. I have concerns about how it will hold up over time… it is somewhat heavy duty plastic…. and plastic is plastic… so we’ll see… first impressions are good… I’m sure as long as I don’t over- stress it , it should last a long time
