most people donât think about the quality of the air they breathe while in their home, but they should. My wife was sneezing and coughing a lot while in the house so we decided to get an air purifier. Weâve had it for about a year. It has made a huge difference. This HEPA Filter that comes with the PuroAir 240 Purifier really does the job. It amazes me how dirty the filter is when the unit indicates that the filter needs changing. Since this filter is doing such a great job I replace with the original. Itâs not the cheapest, but it goes in easily, it fits, it works, and the unit is quiet. Why gamble when I know what I have works.

Genuine PuroAir 240 replacement filters work best for clearing the air
I’ve really noticed a big difference in the quality of air in my bedroom after beginning use of the PuroAir 240 about a year ago. In my experience, the genuine PuroAir filters work best and this is after experiencing an after market brand. Yes, the PuroAir are much more expensive, but I found they last longer (at least two months longer) and apparently contain more filtration especially in the activated carbon layer, since when holding up to bright light source nothing shines thru and that is not the case with the cheaper alternative. And my air quality monitor verified a better quality air with the genuine’s. I think this may be a case where you get what you pay for.

Good replacement filters
The unit tells you when the filter needs changing, which is easy to do. It appears clean, but since mold spores are in there, into the trash it goes, I wish they were recyclable. 🙁
