Works great on carpets. Best carpet cleaner I have ever used. On my sixth bottle now. I hired a âprofessionalâ carpet cleaner. He said my carpet was too old to get clean (after he was done). After the professional job, my carpet âspotsâ were then dirt pathways. It cost $150 for two small rooms he cleaned around furniture.Used this spot cleaner by hand first, it was working great so I bought an inexpensive carpet cleaning machine & used two bottles of this in it instead of the cleaner that came with the machine. My carpets are almost like new. Yay Oxy!!

Good Product, but why did I have to buy two?
Spouse spilled coffee on rug Saturday morning. We tried homemade products — vinegar water/dish soap, etc, blotted, dried, repeat. Still signs of the coffee and it was coming up on the clean cloths. Saturday evening we went out looking for OxyClean but couldn’t find the carpet rug stain remover, so ordered. I wasn’t crazy about ordering two because seriously we only have one rug and we don’t spill stuff on it a lot. We used it Sunday night and it absolutely did bring up the last remnants of the coffee stain! It worked. We have no use for the second bottle. So the product is good. You’ll have more than you’ll ever use.

I had some though stains on my carpet .. got it dry cleaned .. still didnât go ., this spray worked magically .. the stains have 90% disappeared .. super happy with it .. go for it

My dog urinated on the beige area of our hand-knotted oriental carpet and nothing would remove the yellow stain. I ordered this oxiClean rug cleaner. The instructions said it couldnât be used on wool carpets but I took a chance and only sprayed the cream area leaving it on for 5 minutes instead of 10. It lightened it beautifully and even lightened an old stain. I was very pleased. But a word of caution with dark oriental rugs: this product has hydrogen peroxide in it so could bleach the colour from your rug. Be careful when using it on these special carpets. But it does work fairly well.
