Even washable filters need replacing
While these are washable, they do need replacing every so often. I just replaced mine after about a year of use and noticed right away that my vacuum had less of a “pet smell” to it, which is exactly what I was hoping for. I bought this and a Hoover WindTunnel T-Series 1 HEPA Filter & 1 Carbon Charcoal Filter for my Hoover WindTunnel MAX Pet Plus Multi-Cyclonic Bagless Upright, UH70605 to help get rid of the pet smell it had picked up over time from cleaning my house with 3 dogs. After washing out the canister and hoses and it still had a smell, I realized I probably needed to get all new filters as well. Replacing this one in particular made the most difference.It was super simple to switch out. You just pop off the top part of the canister to your vacuum and lift out the old filter, then drop this one in. This filter does have printed on indicators to let you know which side is up, just like on the one that comes with your cleaner. It’s an exact fit and works great!

I’m always afraid to order some replacement parts from Amazon as you can never be sure if it’s actually original equipment or some fake. Even after you read reviews I still feel 50/50 on ordering an item. I am glad to say these air filters were a perfect fit and replacement for my hoover air filter. I can’t say they are straight original from Hoover as it came in a plastic bag with item description, model #, etc on a sticker. I’m not sure if I just got lucky since some other reviews say their filter didn’t fit properly or vacuum still didn’t work properly, but mine did. Now I didn’t wait 2-4-10yrs before replacing the original air filter and become shocked that my vacuum still doesn’t work properly. I’ve had my hoover for barely a year and even though I routinely clean all parts that are removable, I had noticed some drop in cleaning power. So I again cleaned and washed everything I could and put in new air filter. Works great again. Perfect fit and you can HEAR the difference. I got a two pack as I rather invest $10 bucks maybe every year instead of buying yet another vacuum. Happy with this purchase.

The product did not fit my machine, so I cannot comment on like or not like but the service was very good the whole experience was as good as it gets.
