This brush has boar bristles along with large, aggressive plastic bristles. Hard on scalp to use. So it will probably end up as a donation somewhere. Too hard on my tender scalp.

Makes styling much easier!
I love it! I have fine, long hair that I prefer to straighten. This brush makes blow drying easier and gets my hair mostly straight in half the time. It holds the hair so much better, yet is still gentle enough for my fine hair and doesn’t get tangled. I have arthritis and I find this brush comfortable to hold too. I really like the pin tail comb too. I thought the metal would be too harsh on my scalp, but it’s smooth an I enjoy using more than the plastic one I have. This was a great find. I’m happy with my purchase and would buy again. I think it’s a great price for good quality products.

I had numerous brushes over the years but none had as awkward a handle as this one. It seems disproportionate to the size of the brush part, is rather thin, and has nowhere to get a good grip. I will have to figure out what I can do to improve the handle.I have barely used it and surprisingly already some bristles have fallen out. I hope this doesn’t continue. Also, I guess I didn’t read the complete description for this brush. It really should have been part of the main description. The brush has nylon pins at the end of the boar bristles which I didn’t really want.The small size brush I have (pictured) is a BASS brush. It has a “natural bamboo handle with a luxury grade finish and rubber grip inlets”. The grip of this brush is great. The larger size of this BASS brush has become VERY expensive. I wish I had bought it when I bought the smaller version.
