Capture Deep Cleaning Powder is a soft, delicately scented powder which is made up of thousands of tiny, porous particles. These particles look and act much like little sponges. They adhere and “lock on” to dirt and odor particles that become attached to your carpet fibers.

Will dry carpet cleaning destroy my soil-resist or stain-resist treatment?
No. It’s not necessary to reapply stain resistant treatments after every carpet cleaning. However, foot traffic can destroy some soil resisting treatments. Soil and stain resisting treatments should be reapplied after every two to three carpet cleanings, if the carpet is cleaned regularly. Carpet that is not professionally cleaned every 12 to 18 months may require a stain resistant treatment after each carpet cleaning.

Will Capture bleach my carpet?
Capture carpet care products do not contain any chemicals that can remove color from your carpets or rugs. None of our products contain bleaches, ammonia, brighteners, or any other chemicals that can remove color or react with stains to remove color.
Can you clean wool rugs with Capture?
Capture may be used safely on all rugs and carpets made of wool. Capture is approved by the Wool Bureau and will not harm the fibers or the rug.

Can I use Capture powder on sisal rugs or sculpted berber carpets?
Capture is very effective on all types and constructions of carpets and rugs. Carpets and rugs that don’t have pile but are flat instead should be cleaned by first applying the PreMist, then GENTLY brushing in the PreMist, followed by applying the powder and brushing that in. The tighter construction of berber sometimes makes penetration of the powder more difficult, so using a little extra PreMist will enhance the Capture powder’s performance.

Wow. Iâve used several different brands of âCarpet Sprinkle Cleanerâ for 15 plus years.I use the carpet sprinkle between my carpet shampooing every 18 months.Iâve always owned a Dyson Vacuum Cleaner and for about 8 years I bought the less expensive âDyson Zorbâ and for years it was reasonable price wise until they discontinued it and Iâd buy off Amazon for a marked up price but loved it.Then for a few years I bought âArm & Hammer Moist Carpet Sprinkleâ and I did not like it. It barely worked! Always unimpressed.I decided to try this brand when I was looking around Amazon a few weeks ago!So glad I bought this set of âPre Spray & Tub of Sprinkleâ.IT IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST CARPET CLEANER!It definitely kills odors and smells fresh. Not perfume strong at all. Very natural smell. It fluffed up my carpet and made my 9 year old carpet look BRAND NEW! Just as good as Oreck
I have always used Oreck dry carpet cleaner solution. It’s pretty pricey so I decided to try this brand. And it works just as good as Oreck and is much cheaper.

Love the powder not sure spray helps
I did my whole floor with just the capture powder. I saved a little for some rougher spots for when I got the spray. The whole floor, even with the spots is much much cleaner. The part I redid with the spray and the powder did not change. I highly recommend the powder. The spray is probably helpful with certain stains only. I will retry it a few times since I have product left and hopefully that will help it or I will try a different product. For stains Resolve is usually my go to product.

Didn’t Work for Me
I have a newer, off white wool rug that my dogs have dirtied up. I was looking for solutions to clean the rug myself. This product (along with the dry rug part) had great reviews so I decided to give it a shot. It was easy to use and the smell is pleasant, unfortunately it didn’t have the stain lifting affect that I was looking for.

I had used this product many years ago. Forgot about it, and started having my carpets cleaned by a “Professional”. Our house isn’t that large and the rooms are not that big, but a room to them is a room.Our traffic patterns were the only thing that got really dirty. This product is perfect for those kinds of jobs. Much cheaper and it works just as well. Saves us a lot of money and we can do it without any trouble. We’re both getting old and this product is not difficult to use and you don’t need a heavy rug cleaner to get the job done.
