Simple Green Cat Stain & Odor Remover – is the best buy in odorless enzyme cleaners
I wanted to try an enzyme cleaner, for my cat who pees in his sleep, because my research said that these types of cleaners are some of the only ones that actually destroy the chemicals in the urine that cause the odor.The first one that I tried was Nature’s Miracle Original Stain and Odor Remover which I purchased at Dollar General. it worked fine except for one big problem – the overwhelmingly powerful cover scent that they use that I think started to burn a hole in my brain. That stuff went right in the trash after the first use.Next, I tried “Zeiff Pro-Grade Multi-Purpose Probiotic Enzyme Cleaner”. It worked well, had no odor, and at $25 a gallon, was a good price compared to a lot of the other enzyme cleaners which can be very expensive.Then I found Simple Green enzyme cleaner. Odorless, it works just as good, if not better, than the others I’ve tried, and only costs $11 a gallon. It’s a no-brainer. And if you do like a little smell good when you clean, put in a few drops of essential lemon oil. it will make the air smell fresh without being overpowering.

Cleans extremely well!
This is great stuff, it has a scent but not over powering(it’s not to hide the pee smell), it actually smells good. It cleans extremely well, as for deturing from spraying again, not so sure, but it did get rid of the offending urine odor. Another lady had said they had used it on a bed that a bed wetter had all but ruined and it removed the smell. So I tried it in my mother room whom has Alzheimer’s and Bam it worked. The only bad thing is it’s a little spendy cuz you’ll go through quite a bit, it didn’t say to dilute it, but I did. To mop the floor and wash the walls and it worked great I just pre spotted bad spots and then mopped with the diluted solution! Wish they had a 5 gallon bucket that I could buy.

Simple to use. Cleaned the urine smell from my cat spraying. I used a spray bottle at first. Going to try it in a hand held upholstery cleaner next. Much cheaper than other brands.

Works well, scented but not too overpowering
I have only tried this on fresh cat pee, but it works very well to eliminate the urine smell. The product itself is definitely scented, but I don’t find it too overpowering or lingering. It smells a bit like soap and a bit like pomelos (which are similar to grapefruits).Years ago I lived with a cat with urinary issues and always used nature’s miracle. Recently a cat I live with has been stressed and started spraying in the house. I got some nature’s miracle, and idk if they changed the formula or my brain just so completely associates the smell of it with the smell of cat pee that I can no longer stand it, but I honestly would rather have had the bench smell like cat pee than the whole room reek of nature’s miracle.So I looked for an unscented enzyme spray, but they were all pretty pricey. This was around $8 for a large bottle and reviews about the scent were favorable, so I figured I’d try it, and I’m glad I did. I’m hopeful that the scent is light and dissipating enough that even when my brain starts associating it with cat pee it won’t be horrible.Works well, great price, scent is much lighter than nature’s miracle!! If you absolutely need unscented though, this is not it.

Not sure that it really removes odor.
I liked the price but I feel like it didnât do a great job at removing scent, however we used it on cement which it says you can, but maybe it works better on fabrics! It does have a decent scent itself though. More of a temporary cover up Iâd say.

Great for Marriages
I have loved my husband for almost a decade. However, I have loved my cat for almost 15 years. So when she pees on the floor in front of her litter box, Iâm not going to boot her out on a whim, much to my husbandâs dismay.Luckily for my husband, he has two household jobs: taking out the trash and taking care of the cat area. Unfortunately for my husband, as I mentioned above, she sometimes pees on the floor. In my opinion, she does this as a power move. I would, too, if I were her. Itâs important to note that we have taken her to the vet a ton, but canât find out why she does this. Not that my husband has asked, but im pretty sure itâs because he doesnât scoop her box to her standards. Iâd do it myself, but alas, power moves run in my family (and Iâve been constantly pregnant or with a newborn for 8 years)So why do I share all of this family feline drama? Because it leads us to reviewing this excellent product. As much as I love my cat, I am not fond of her urine smell. This product demolishes odors and helps us not have a gross house. Without this product helping the cat smell when a power move is made, my husband would probably have made me choose between him and the cat. Iâd miss him very much. Thanks for saving my marriage!

So disappointed
My cat had his first ever accident, pee. I used my shampooer on it and ordered this Simple Green product. The urine smell is so much worse as well as is the strong scent of this product. I used it three times with no improvement. I’m ordering another company’s product which is unscented. I’ve used the original Simple Green for decades. It is fantastic as well as environmently safe. I even wrote the company to share my experience of SG removing a seven year old very large black grease stain from a white tuxedo! This cat urine product was a great disappointment.
