I buy so many things on Amazon that I kind of just stopped bothering to leave reviews, but itâs currently raining with thunder and lightning and hail and all of the things and I decided that I needed to stop what I was doing (the dishes) and leave a review to help any other Pet parents with their anxious dog.Iâm not gonna go on and on, but Iâm going to say that Howard has always been terrified of both the sound of rain (we have a metal roof ) and thunder and of course the flashing of lightning. I live in Sedona where we get monsoons in the summer and we get plenty of rain in the winter and fall. I never get to enjoy any of it because I spend the whole time in a dark room comforting Howard while he shakes and salivates.This thing is a game changer. It will be hail storm and heâs fast asleep. You can see from his picture he Is right next to the window and it is in fact raining and there is thunder going on. Luckily the lightning is too far away so itâs not freaking him out. I just want to say thank you to manufacturer of this. It absolutely does work is it his favorite thing to wear no but he allows me to put it on his head and he will go to sleep with it on and he doesnât try to take it off.5 stars from me. Oh and Howard is considered a large dog. He weighs 67 pounds. He weighs s a 12 year old Queensland heeler and German Shepherd mix. He is wearing size LARGE.Heâs almost 2 year old adopted sister in the background isnât bothered by the rain because she is deaf

Fantastic Hearing Protection!!
These are fantastic hearing protection! Our Ginny is so scared of fireworks, thunder and rainstorms.She shakes so hard her little ears shake! We put these on and the shaking stops. She didn’t like them at first and tried to shake them off. But she realizes they are helping her and she is just calm.Highly recommend!!

My dog is terrified that any noise leads to fireworks this looked like a good idea but equally traumatizing for her She wouldnât move at all Maybe if she wasnât so frightened it would work

Doesn’t completely block sound.
We hoped this would help our German Shepherd with thunder and fire works. It doesn’t it blocks it a little but not like they claim. I don’t recommend it however it is better than nothing.

These were kind of pricey but so I was hoping they would work but they really donât block loud noises. We have fireworks year around and my dog suffers. The only reason Iâm not returning them is Iâm going to try to make them work by changing out the headphones

I got this for our dog to help with fireworks and different festivals she likes going to with us, but have very loud or startaling noises on occasion we were not aware or prepared for when taking her with us.The covering is very soft fabric over the headphones like a nice blanket. The ear covers are good sized and do cover her ears completely with a snugness around them without being tight. The synch cord is great to have the ability to adjust as needed, ensuring she is comfortable wearing the covering. When she shakes her head or runs around, it does not move or shift that I have noticed.I did cover my own ears with them to see if they do cancel noises out, and found they do a pretty good job. Depending on the volume, they do seem to at the very least make it sound very soft or low volume; however, dogs hear completely different and better than the human ears work and function.These have not been tested outside of the house yet, as I am still working with her on getting used to them without trying to take the covers off. She is not one that likes to have stuff on her head, so it’ll take a bit for her to adjust or she may not at all, only time will tell. A month in, she does seem a bit better when I put them on her as I make it more of a game with lots of praise, love, and training treats so she knows its good and not a punishment.I can tell she notices a difference with her hearing by her signals she gives, so I know it’s working to some degree. Again, how much, I won’t know until she is completely comfortable with them and I really turn the music up.Overall, the seller gives a good description and pictures for what you receive.If you have a dog that doesn’t mind wearing the sunshades or things on their head, you probably won’t have an issue with these. They are very soft and seem to be comfortable, so based on what I have seen so far, they are good and could work for you and yours. I just do not know how well or if they will work for us, as only time will tell.I did give 5/5 stars because the product itself seems good and did cancel the sound out for me, but every dog is different, so I based the review strictly on the product and not how my dog is adjusting to wearing them.

they do slip a little even when tightened. they definitely seem to dampen sounds, as my dog was taken aback a bit by the sensation (and I know it wasnât just from wearing it, heâs used to wearing things on his head!)

avec les chaussettes et ce casque il est paré pour les chantiers et les concerts. J’aurais préféré un système de scratch large de 2 cm environ le gallon est un peu “agressif” et inconfortable pour lui car on doit le serrer un peu pour que cela ne glisse pas, d’autant que le temps qu’il s’habitue il tente de l’enlever bien sûr.Je conseille d’habituer le chien à la maison avant de lui mettre en situation.

Endlich ist etwas hilfreiches erfunden worden. Dankechön! Meine Hündin leidet so sehr an Silvester, wir wussten nicht mehr weiter. Ãber zig Beruhigungstabletten, Decken, Düften und Klängen bis hin zu Autofahrten auf der Autobahn während der blöden Böllerei hat nichts wirklich geholfen. Dieser Hörschutz ist aber wirklich vielversprechend, denn wenn ich Silvestergeräusche abspiele, kommt absolut keine Reaktion von ihr. Natürlich üben wir regelmäÃig, damit sie den Ohrschutz anbehält und ihn als normal empfindet. Aber er sitzt wirklich gut und engt nichts ein. Sehr weicher und angenehmer Stoff. Und mittlerweile ist sie soweit, dass sie schon einschläft. Sie schlummert sogar, wenn die Silvestergeräusche auf dem Handy auf sehr hoher Lautstärke abgespielt werden. Das war vorher absolut nicht möglich. Ich kann es wirklich jedem ans Herz legen, der seiner Fellnase diese Silvester Qualen ersparen bzw. diesen Abend angenehmer gestalten möchte.

Non serve assolutamente a niente per il mio cane, ho una Shiba che, non abbiamo ancora scoperto il motivo, in vista del suo decimo compleanno ha iniziato ad essere più sensibile ai rumori e i tuoni praticamente la uccidono dentro. Piange strilla non ha pace. Le stiamo provando tutte prima di passare ai farmaci. Queste cuffie sono, per il mio cane, assolutamente inutili.Oltre ad essere estremamente costose, non avrei dato prezzo per farla stare tranquilla e soffrire di meno. Mi sono ripresa 80 euro e non ha risolto il problema
