    High Quality/Sensible Siphon
Decided to give this Gravel Vacuum a try and was not disappointed! Has everything you need to process efficient water changes. Haven’t been disappointed with anything I have bought from Seaoura so far.

Not the best but not the worst
Cleans well and does what its supposed to do. Same complaint for me as far as the design goes, doesnt work perfectly each time but it does do a decent job at cleaning so thats a plus I suppose. The downfall here is the connection sometimes leaks which can make cleaning cumbersome. Overall, not bad and its not the worst Ive had in the past.

    Kind of flimsy
The quality isn’t super great, but it does the job. A big problem I have is the length. This is for a deep fish tank and I found it a little difficult to get it to work in a shallower tank.

    Wow, I am impressed!
I was super skeptical about this siphon. I have another with a trigger grip and it worked great the first time but doesn’t pull a suction at all now to start the siphone. This thing is awesome. The main tube is on the smaller side, around an inch in diameter and the drain hose is around 3/8″ of an inch, so siphoning is somewhat slower than many may be used to. That said, it pulls suction and starts siphoning very quickly and easily. The thumb button isn’t as awkward to use as I thought it would be, is smooth to operate, and gets water flowing with a few pumps. The smaller diameter pickup tube is nice for fitting in tighter spaces if washing gravel or sand. I drained my 20 gallon tank in less than 5 minutes!

Great Cleaner With Minor Design Flaws
This aquarium cleaner has been pretty useful for my tank maintenance routine. The build quality is solid, and I especially like how you can adjust the length of the tubes for different tank depths. The manual pump system works smoothly – just a few pushes and you get good water flow going. The filter basket is well-designed, preventing any small fish or gravel from getting sucked up accidentally.I’m impressed with how effective it is at cleaning different areas of the tank. The scraper head does a decent job on algae, and the gravel cleaning function really gets out the debris hiding in the substrate. The clear tube lets you see what’s being removed, which helps ensure you’re not taking out too much good bacteria along with the waste. However, there are a couple of issues worth mentioning. First, the connection points between the tubes could be more secure – they occasionally come loose during use if you’re not careful. Also, the manual pump sometimes needs several tries to get the siphon started, especially if you’re working with a deeper tank.

    Got to pump manually
Got to stand and pump manually because the water flow won’t flow freely into bucket like shown. Ugh!

    Great for money!
A manual water changer with an air push button for efficient cleaning. Includes a hose for removing debris and refreshing fish tanks.

It doesn’t suck so it sucks
I liked this fancy-looking aquarium siphon, but instead of upgrading, it looks like I downgraded. You have to keep pumping in the back to get the water to go. It’s very time-consuming. And when the water finally went on its own, it seemed very slow.It looks nice but I wished it worked better.Back to the old boring pump.
