    Its perfect for my RV
I live full time in an RV. So lots of dust and dirt all the time. This vacuum is easy to put together and is easy to empty. Is it the most powerful? No its a 30 dollar vacuum. But i have to say its perfect for small spaces. It goes from carpet to hardwood easy. Its light weight. Not cordless but under the volt recommended to run in the rv.

Cheap, effective, light weight and going strong after 12 years.
I bought this on July 1, 2012. It’s is now May 2, 2024 and I have come back 12 years later to say I still use this vacuum and love it. I’ve had several other hard surface vacuums over these tears and this one has always been my favorite because not only is the suction great, but it’s so light weight and easy to use. The only negative I could say about it us the short cord length, but I easily fixed that with a cheap, dollar store extension cord I leave on. It picks up dog hair, crumbs, dirt and dust and even bigger pieces like cheerios. It was $20 when I bought it 12 years ago and still going strong today. I noticed it’s now $35, but if thus one broke then I’d buy it again.

Aloha and mahalo from across the ocean.
Thank you for such a wonderful, lightweight, and simple product which I thoroughly enjoy using. I have purchased those so called top of the line vacuum cleaners in my life but I must say this is the first time I have never dreaded having to haul out the old vacuum in order to deal with a quick cleaning issue. The old body just isn’t what it used to be so any help I can get is greatly appreciated. This is my first stik vacuum and I’m asking myself why did I wait so long. It is so lightweight that I manage very well even on a bad day! There is more than ample suction power to get the job done and best of all it takes mere seconds to convert to the handheld version. It’s fabulous for cleaning the tight areas in the bathrooms. I love it and would definately recommend this product to everyone. My stik arrived earlier than estimated and I paid less than one fourth of the price stores in my town are asking. Love the product and love the price! Just a little update. After a few months of using this product my cousin from who lives out of state and recently purchased her very large dream house called just to touch bases. Well after hearing me rant and rave about your great product unbeknownst to me she too decided to purchase the same thing at a local neighborhood Walmart at a much higher price. If I remember right the price was $25.00, much higher than what I paid I might add. A few weeks later she called to rant and rave about her purchase and just how much she loves your product and how it has also made her cleaning chores so much easier. Her exact words were, ”I just love this stick.” Just thought you might like to know. Word of mouth travels fast!!! She should have bought it on Amazon, she could have saved $10.00 and it would have been delivered to her front door. It doesn’t get any better than that. Great price, great selection, and home delivery!!! Try beating that. Another little pearl of wisdom that might be of interest. The head on this cutie is narrow and flat enough to be an extreme asset when cleaning my cabinets. Instead of the old duster and dust pan and broom, I now just run the stik in the cabinets and vacuum like I would my floors. It saves a lot of time and wasted energy I used before in toting all of my excess cleaning supplies. Hope this helps. Update for December 2017…..I think so highly of this little vacuum that when it went on sale this winter I purchased another one as a back up. If that’s not love I don’t know what is!!!!!

    Dirt Devil Simpli-Stik Lightweight Corded…
The Vacuum in the picture is not the one you will receive. The one in the picture is the most incredible vac I have ever used. I bought one for my Mother and I and I loved it and wore it out, I loved it so much. Please take note of the differences because the number itself to identify it is the same, even the same manufacturer, but it is not the same as photo. Comparison to see if you got the good one or the bad one. There is clearly a difference. The good one looks exactly like the photo, please look carefully as I tell you. The button is more narrow, the one that is a replacement is larger, almost twice the size. The second thing is the bottom area to clean that detaches to use the hose if you want for the crevice too. The good one has narrow corners and is more square, the bad one has more rounded corners. The good one is black on the bottom and all filled in; the bad one has nothing filling in the bottom and is hollow looking and just the plastic red plastic you can see from the front and the corners are more curved, larger and won’t fit into small areas like the good one that is narrow and square. The tool, on the old one I use to have, the good one the tool hooks on nicely, the bad one the tool keeps falling off the vac and is a real pain you know where. Lastly and most important I think is the bag which makes or breaks it and in my case this is my second one sending back. The good one that I use to have and my Mother does too, has a Gray thick Cup in it so the dirt won’t get into the motor and picks up so much stuff, that you want to change each time you use it. But the one that they have now, the bad one, the one that doesn’t look like it is pictured here has a white cup that is paperish, falls apart in no time, a couple of weeks in fact and I cleaned it each time I used it. When I would pull off the lint that had collected, I would pull out the bag itself as well. The material just is not something that will hold up at all and in no time, the bag will disintegrate and I mean that. So as far as protecting the inside motor, forget that and you likely won’t get a month in before you have no cup. The old one I use to have, you could wash the cup each month. I always cleaned it out after each use, but you could do the monthly wash to keep it running awesome. The one you see in this photo to recap has a larger button to take off the bottom to remove the White Clothy Cup that will disintegrate in weeks. This one also has rounded corners, a hollow underneath, not black or filled in, just hollow, cheap, like it could be missing the bottom, but no the second one was the same way, Lastly this one has a crevice tool that will not adhere to the vac. It just keeps falling off as you vac which will drive you threw the roof. So the release button, the curved corner bottom, the hollow underneath, the white dust cup and the crevice holder does not hold good to the vac. I may get a Bissel instead. I’m going to look well and neither one has a small brush for carpets, but even a floor model should pick up better than this one does. Watch the Just Awful Video. That will help you tremendously when it comes to show you it’s pick up capacity. Just trying to help, I’m quite discouraged now with the second one to send back. I just want you to not have to go through this ordeal.

    Cheap.
We had an older version of this unit and really liked it but several pieces cracked, including the dust holder latch after many years of use. This new unit certainly feels a bit “cheaper” than the old version. And the dust nozzle that clips onto the handle, just falls off. It’s inexpensive. It vacuums. That’s about it.

This is my go to vacuum and has been for many years. I got my first one about 20 years ago to clean up dry spills my kids made. The vacuum has been upgraded some over the years, better technology and all that, but is still in essence the same great product at the same great price. The suction has gotten much better over the years and the addition of the removable stick is a very welcome one! The edge tool provided is so helpful. This vacuum is light and easy to assemble. It works great on low and no pile flooring but not so great on high pile carpeting. You can use it to quickly get crumbs off your table or counter but moisture is its nemesis so be wary of that. The fully enclosed cannister is perfect for sucking up beads, sequens and glitter that you can then reuse if the canister and filter are kept clean. (For this price, I’ve always had one dedicated specifically to crafts for this exact reason.) Cobwebs are no match for this tiny beast and the stick makes it easy to reach those high corners. The lightweight body and long cord of this vacuum makes it the perfect tool for cleaning your stairs and baseboards. The filters are inexpensive and often come in multipacks. I can generally get 6 months of daily use out of a single filter. The filters *can* be rinsed in a pinch but must be air dried completely before using again. The cannister and edge tool can absolutely go through the dishwasher, the wide head and motor cannot (obviously.) I wouldn’t recommend this as a primary pet hair control tool, the suction is not strong enough to remove the hair thats embedded deeply into fabric and the plastic used to make it attracts the pet hair to the wrong area of the vacuum. (You end up with more pet hair on the outside of the vacuum than in the cannister in my experience.) I would suggest making sure you empty the cannister and brush off the filter every time you use it for optimal longevity and operation. This vacuum stands on its own using the wide head, is light enough to be hung on a command hook and the stick is just the right size to fit into a pressure clamp broom holder, making it easy to store even in a small dorm. This is all around a great vacuum and I recommend it to everyone.

Its a small vacuum so i didn’t expect much, and it gets the job done and keeps my dorm clean. Very small and skinny so it stores very well. It’s amazing for my living situation and i recommend for fellow college students
