We used the Bates Paint Roller set to paint a couple of rooms when we moved into our new house, and it worked well! This 11-piece set includes all the basics you need for home painting projects. While it may not have any standout features, it gets the job done effectively. Overall, a solid choice for anyone looking to tackle painting tasks without breaking the bank!

Quality is better than to be expected
This set has both 4 and 9 inch roller frames, each with two rollers. The 2″ angled brush has a steel ferrule and a long handle. The bristles hold and release paint well and kept their shape after cleaning. I ordered this because I needed a paint tray in a hurry and wasn’t expecting a lot but I am really pleased with the value. My one suggestionis that the rollers are very thick – 1/2 inch. One thick and one thinner would be a plus.

This seemed like a convenient solution to a paint job I had to do, but upon seeing the quality of the items I wasnât impressed.Not to knock the dollar store, but everything in this bundle can be bought at a dollar store. In fact, I think some dollar store items would actually be better than this. I would not purchase this kit if youâre concerned about doing a quality job.I ended up trying to use the tray, but quickly threw it out.Ended up going to the hardware store and rebuying every single piece of this kit.The difference in quality from hardware store items to this was night and day – granted, the cost of the hardware store items was probably 4-5x the cost of this bundle.Might be a good option is you just need to get paint onto something and arenât trying to do a detailed quality job. Wouldnât buy this if youâre doing any meaningful project.

The set is a great deal. It ends there. The quality of these rollers are terrible. They donât roll easily and absorb way more paint than necessary. They do not provide an even coat and leave a lot of lint behind from the roller. Do yourself a favour and go to the hardware store and get proper rollers. These are garbage and set my project back because I have to re-do the finish.
