My primary hair tool now!
I waited to write a review because I wanted it to be honest. A heat brush was recommended by my cosmetologist after I found myself struggling with a traditional hair dryer and round brush after unexpected hand surgery. The first week was a time of adjustment. I became frustrated when I first attempted to used it. It took trial and error, along with YouTube tutorials to get accustomed to it. Like with most styling tools and appliances, it takes practice. The handle portion of the brush is a larger diameter and was easier to grasp than a regular brush. That helped tremendously and it is something to consider if purchasing for someone in the same situation. It would also possibly benefit someone older looking for a way to maintain hair, but is struggling with dexterity and range of motion issues. With my other hand I was able to guide the hair as the brush bristles moved through the hair. It resulted in smooth, no-flyaway hair. I had gotten my cosmetologist to cut my hair from shoulder length to chin length while healing and recovering. The brush made a easy to curl under, andflip resulting in an easy to maintain bob. It is now my preferred method of finishing my damp hair. The hand has healed, but I have decided to stay with the Conair heated brush. Most negative or indifference seems to come from confusion about the use and ability of the appliance. The brush is a styler, not a dryer. It is meant to take hair from damp to styled. Think low wattage 1970’s bonnet hair dryer with medium and high output settings. Even at the highest setting it is a significantly lower wattage than the average 1800w dryers on the market. The brush’s high heat is for styling thicker, coarser hair. The low heat setting for thin, fine, or damaged hair. Cool is to lock the set. A thermal protectant spray, oil, or lotion is a must for optimal results and hair protection. The price is right and the color is pretty. It is the only hair tool I take on trips.Only con: There needed to be a knob or an area at the top end of the brush where the user could hold to help steady and control the appliance. There is not one and though it is a styler it gets too hot for fingers.

After years of blow dryers and curling irons, I discovered the magic of a blow drying curling iron and will never go back !!This little cookie is lightweight but very sturdy. Has enough air to dry my super fine yet massive, amount of hair without cooking it.Handle is curved to accommodate my tiny little paw without having to employ a death grip.No frizz. No tangles.And the biggest secret I will share with JUST YOU, is to section your hair from the area you are drying/curling, and holding the rest of the hair back with a clip. Easy peasy.

Great hair product
This is the second of these hair brushes I have purchased. Love it so much. The first time I bought a second one for our vacation home. Iâd love it because itâs lightweight and doesnât hurt my bad shoulder while doing hair. It works great at smoothing out my wavy curly hair. I also like it because the barrel isnât too big or too small. Itâs just right for my shoulder length hair. Would highly recommend this product.

Unit failed after 2 weeks, Conair never sent replacement after 3 months!!!
I have bought this unit twice – the first time in Feb 2024, and it worked great for about 2-3 weeks, then the motor/blower all of a sudden slowed down to a crawl, and I noticed a slight burnt smell. I turned the unit off and on several times, but it was barely running. So, I requested a return through ConAir, as was the policy on Amazon. I sent Conair all of the information they requested (including a photo showing the unit with the cord cut, and my invoice from Amazon). They stated in the confirmation email “Please allow 10 days for your new item to arrive due to temporarily longer than usual shipping times.” … WELL as of 6/20/24, I still hadn’t received my replacement unit. So, I resent everything to Conair on 6/20 that they needed to process the return, told them I never received my unit following my initial request on 4/9. As of today, 7/8/24, I have still not received my replacement unit! So, I resent the information to them AGAIN today, reiterating the non-response since April, but I don’t have faith that I’ll ever receive it. NOT GOOD!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!PLEASE NOTE: I purchased a second unit at the same time that I submitted the return request (in April 2024) because I wanted to have a backup unit, and that one has worked well, so far, as of today (7/8/24).

Modify : On/Off Switch
I like all about it : weight, soft bristles, cord length, color, and the color is lovely.The on, off heat only, slide switch is awkward to use ~my opinion is that it’s too flat to move it easily. A nuisance to remove from hair to slide it.

Great tool. I get compliments on my hair. Hair look like professionally styled. Easy to use. The only thing is that I cannot curl my hair even a bit, they style straight. But that’s ok

I had an oval brush dryer but could not get used to it so this is. My replacement. My hairdresser told me to not use this style drier to blow my just washed hair. The motors tend to burn out quicker. So I half dry my hair then use wheat protestant and a bit of colonizing mousse and finish drying with this rier.I’m happy with the soft non>frizzy waves.the high switch gets really hot so I tend to use the low heat and it doesn’t take long at all to finish styling my hair to my satisfaction. excellent purchase,happy with this purchase. The bristles are fairly soft and don’t get tangled in my hair.
