We washed my husband’s glasses in here and the basin isn’t quite deep enough for them so we put them in twice. The glasses did get really really clean. He has an oily face and his glasses do tend to need to be cleaned fairly regularly. I’m excited to have this around to be able to clean them more thoroughly and more often. That water was sooooooo grey and gross after the two rounds of cleaning they went through. Very impressed, It would be awesome if it were just a half an inch deeper.

This jewelry cleaner is just what I needed. For ages I have been using that old school ammonia based jewelry cleaner that comes in jars. The jars are small and get gross after multiple uses.This nice compact machine is a perfect replacement. It can clean multiple pieces at once and does a great job without that awful smell. I have been very pleased with how well it works.

Itâs so convenient to have this ultrasonic cleaner on hand. Iâve found it works for jewelry, cosmetic tools, my husbands tools, and so much else! Itâs big enough to have multiple uses, but small enough to easily store. Itâs quiet when it runs and itâs effective after a few cycles of use. Probably nowhere near the quality youâd get at a professional jeweler, but still better than hand scrubbing alone and worth it to keep around.

Sparkling Jewelry, But Beware with Coated Glasses
Iâve been using this Ultrasonic Jewelry Cleaner, and it does a fantastic job on my jewelry! The 48,000Hz high-frequency sound waves really get into all the little crevices, leaving my necklaces, rings, and earrings sparkling clean. I also really appreciate the two cleaning modes, the 5-minute cycle is perfect when I need a quick polish, while the 7-minute cycle is great for giving my favorite pieces a deeper clean.That said, I did learn the hard way that this cleaner is not the best choice for glasses with special coatings. I used it on my glasses and it cleaned them well but a little too well, there are spots where some of the blue light protection coating was taken off. Granted my glasses are old and I’m overdue for a new pair but was trying to hold out because I really like this specific style that they don’t make anymore. Lesson learned, Iâll stick to just using it for my jewelry pieces!

Works Great For Cleaning Glasses!
I have never had an ultrasonic cleaner so I really have nothing to compare it too. I have an oily face so my glasses get a lot of oil on them and wanted to try an ultrasonic cleaner rather than spray and wipe them everyday. I felt like that didn’t always get all the grease off the glasses with just a spray cleaner. Boy was I right! after using this cleaner it is amazing how much clear I can see through my glasses. It is now my daily routine to put them in and clean them every morning on a 5 minute cycle. The only downside is the glasses don’t quite fit all the way down in the water there is maybe a 1/4″ sticking out of the water. That is ok because most of the grease is on the top of my glasses but once a week I do two 5 minutes cycles to clean both sides which seems to work well. Again I have no experience to compare how this works to other cleaners but it sure cleans my greasy glasses well. I do add a drop of dishwashing soap to it when I fill it with water.
