Motor burned up after a little over a year!
I used this vacuum in my garage at home. This is the fourth Shop-Vac we own. The other three are still going strong – two in our house and the smallest one also in the garage. I was using the vacuum, and the motor just died. At first I though it was the electrical outlet; so, I tried another outlet in our garage that’s on another circuit. Still no power. Plus, the vacuum was emitting a burned odor. I’ve contacted Shop-Vac for warranty – we’ll see what happens. Shop-Vac used to have a toll-free number to call – no more. Shop-Vac now only accepts emails for product support.
